Description: Copy one of the pics to to /.kde/share/apps/kicker/pics/ -or- /opt/kde/share/apps/kicker/pics/ and change it's name to kside.png Now, restart KDE.
I added it to the folder you specified, and restarted kicker. I still see the regular Kubuntu sidebar. Do I have to restart all of KDE?
Oh, and you misspelled share in the latter directory. (And it looks great on the screenshot) :)

That's the only way I do it, is to restart KDE. And, thank you.
