GTK has plenty of warm themes.
One of my favorite is Industrial. I believe this engine has been with gtk for quite some time now.
I would try to port it myself, but I am currently involved in too many projects as it is now, with what time I have.
So, I wish someone would port GTK theme Industrial.
I also realize Plastik is very close. Maybe I could hope for plastik to become more configurable

cheers

You mean the default color scheme...
By the way, the screenshot you listed above is not Industrial, it's SmoothGnome/Glider. Glider uses the Smooth Engine & Industrial uses the "Industrial" engine... They are completely two different themes built on two different engines... Just though you would like to know :)
One more thing, back in the days of kde 3.1 someone released a kwin theme called KIndustrial. Unfortunately it was never updated to work w/ KDE 3.2 & up. I would love to see someone update & finish this theme... http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=8557
Suse does have an industrial theme for QT (sure, it works with KDE too ;-) in there new version: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/9.2/suse/src/qindustrial-0.0.2-5.src.rpm imho it looks awful & terrible, but look at the version number. I switched back to plastik.
I've tailored Plastik with 3.3.1 to look more like Industrial as well, since I like the feel of the theme. However the main wish for me is the Window Decorations for Metacity to get ported to KDE.
