Description: This is the Lilo Bootscreen for Debian GNU/Linux I introduced on debianplanet.org some time ago. It comes in versions for the different releases Potato, Woody, Sarge and Sid. The GIMP .xcf image is included in the bz2-archive.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
Update: This bootscreen is now included in the official Debian lilo packages for testing and unstable. The configuration has slihtly changed in these packages, please see http://debian.newswriter.org for details.
I realy don't know. There are patches for graphical grub menus, but i haven't tried it yet. the grub coming with debian is not graphical.
if you can get more information on how an image can be used in grub i would be interested. i personaly like grub much better than lilo.
heh i forgot to say that u did a great job! And i found out that grub does support "splashscreens" through a the following example i found "splashscreen = (hd0,1)/boot/message.col24" im still looking and will post anything i find here.
