hey i had the same trouble everyone else did and i assumed it was a kicker bug or something, but i was able to display any other pic all right...
i eventually fixed it so i can use your themes, i tiled the png to a 48x48 square and saved it as a jpg and it works great... im sure there are better ways to get it to work, but i just thought i'd post this in case it helps anyone else.
Where is my paper bag? Obviously it was no good idea to spend all money dedicated to language education for video games. At least I should teach myself using a dictionary. Ayee.
Dears,
Please note Deviant's reply. to message #3. Mosfet's liquid don't use any pixmaps. Markus suggestion works if you have installed (and use) the Aqua theme/style by Arnaux. If you are using liquid, I don't think there is any straight-forward way to put this kicker background.

I don't think so. It seems to be some old background lying around IMHO. As a creator of kicker backgrounds one does nothing special, just providing some pixmaps. If they are not displayed correctly, the error lies somewhere else, I'm afraid. You won't get any other backgrounds to work properly, too. :-(
PS.: Your email address doesn't work.
Works perfectly with all possible liquid options I tried. Sorry, I can't reproduce your error. If you don't know how to debug the problem yourself, don't use this backgrounds then.
well, I tried one.. but it does some funny problems. my kicker is all twisted.. I don't know what it is and how to fix it.
(and I tried restarting KDE).

if you know how to fix this, please leave a message, thanks.
The Aqua themes overwrite the kicker background with their own background. You have to disable it by hand, e.g.
cd ~/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/pixmaps/acqua
mv background.png background.png.DISABLED

...that magenta is actually a redish purple colour :) cyan is probably the word you were looking for...

Same behaviour here and neither /opt/kde/share/apps/kstyle/pixmaps/acqua or ~/.kde/apps/kstyle/pixmaps/acqua exists not the "aqua"
maybe it's a function I need to disable in the liquid configuration? ;-(

I'm using Liquid quite frankly.. and I couldn't find that directory you 're talkinga bout anyway. Hmm?

That isn't posible mith Mosfet's Liquid, it is not pixmap based, it is a theme engine programmed in c++.
looks nice, thnx for that!
