it looks great but Ark gives error and doesn't extract gzip archive. is it something wrong with me? i'm running openSuSe 11 with KDE 3.5.9
Also when i try to install theme in KControl -> Appearance -> Splash Screen it gives the error "Couldn't load theme configuration file"

Is it a SuSE or how did you get the boot messages arranged that way?
It's Gentoo Linux, bootsplash in verbose mode.
So as in SuSE it's the default in Gentoo to have the bootmessages arranged like this? What a pity - so I probably won't get an answer how I can do this on my Debian.
Well, I never had Debian, so I don't know how to make it look like Gentoo:-) But you could try 2 things: - ask it in Debian forum - ask it in Gentoo forum (this one is better IMHO)
