Description:Kdenlive is an acronym for KDE Non-Linear Video Editor.
It is primarily aimed at the GNU/Linux platform but also works on BSD and MacOS.
It is currently being ported to Windows as a GSOC project.
NOTE: This is only to provide appimages, I am not the developer.

9 "9 excellent". I withhold the "10" rating for only two reasons. (1) Kdenlive does not support 2-pass encoding for mp4 (it only does single-pass encode using a "crf" quality specification); (2) High audio bit rates are not selectable in the GUI, you must save and edit a "script" file to specify extreme quality bit rates. To work around the first problem, I create my mp4 videos in Kdenlive at high quality ("crf" 13 or 14), and then input the HUGE Kdenlive output resuit as an input to handbrake - where I can perform a 2-pass re-encode at a target bit rate.

I know, I would have update it, but opendesktop had been extremely unresponsive (slow) for me lately.
Kdenlive 18.08.2 is now available on the kdenlive.org website
