Currently, there is zero spacing on my taskbar (probably a effect of the more recent plasma update).

I think it would look better if there is a few pixel gaps all around. And it more closely resembles the old classic and the look in your screenshot.
5.21 changed task button margins unexpectedly so I'm in the process of updating all my themes. Just finished Expose Metallic so not sure when I'll get time to update this. Sometime in the next week or so.
Just installed this on my laptop - I absolutely LOVE it. Installed it manually because I had issues installing through Settings but I do that with lots of themes. Only question I have is that I get a light status icon for Telegram-desktop which makes it very hard to see on the light panel. Is this something you can fix?
I can only get the 'official' desktop app to work and it provides its own hard-coded tray icons. It would be different using a distro built package. Can you send me a screenshot? Might be something I can do.

Hehe, ain't nostalgia grand! You might try DamasDamas icon theme. This was the default icon theme for earlier versions of Reactionary. https://store.kde.org/p/1171111/
This theme doesn't play well with DPI scaling; I use forced DPI scaling because everything is tiny on my screen without it, but the gradient title bar doesn't scale with the rest of the interface, so it ends up only half the height of the text and buttons. Any way this could be fixed?

A couple of issues: the maximized windows look inactive even if they are active (no blue gradient). When dragging an area and icons on the desktop, there is no indication that they have been selected (maybe because the selection box has a transparent fill).

Looks like I was only scaling the fonts. I'm a complete n00b when it comes to Linux.
