Yes, but folders stay yellow. Dark Blue, Dark Green. It does't change. How will this work ? I don't undestand install .sh from other themes to change collors of folders.
Ahh... got it. You need to keep both the light and the dark version in the folder. Only the dark version, without light, doesn't work. Now they do color.
4.4 sadly feels like a major downgrade :( a lot more stock-icons that break the consistancy of the theme. Did you rebase the theme? It was based on Papirus before, correct? I'll stick with the old theme for now and just watch this new theme for a while, see how things develope along the way.
I'm still on 2019-11-27, after that the folder icons are a bit changed and after that the whole theme is just another SLIGHTLY different flat icon theme

im working on adding new icons and i fix the index.theme. you can add papirus icons on "inherits=" section on the index.theme
Ah i see, wouldn't it be better if you just made a new theme alltogether then? The "New" theme looks a Lot different from the old/classic Marwaita theme. Just a recomendation since i LOVE the old/classic marwaita theme.
When it comes to the New theme, i personally would love the previouse Steam-icon to be implemented in this theme as well, it was the only Steam-Icon i personally thought looked good xD

I don't like the style of papirus, with this icon pack i want the looks of the original icons but more colorful, simple kinda mac os, i dont want to make it super flat or too complex...its like real life objects, paper is flat (like the folders icons) a calculator has more details (like the icon) thats the "philosophy" on this project, but niether is gonna to be a diferent icon set... i hope you understand :)
I understand completely. I would however like to ask out of courtesy if you'd be alright with me forking the classic Marwaita Icon Theme? I would like to try maintaining the classic version, even if it ends up being for myself only.

How do I get colored folders? All I can see is the yellow-ish ones.
Unzip everything. There are links to the light variant in the dark variant. If you unzip everything it'll work.

I second the idea of giving the new version a new name, so people who still want to use the old version can find it more easily.
Are you abondoning the old/classic version of Marwaita to focus on this new one? Or are you goning to work on them both simultaneously?
