The code has only been tested under Linux but should be generic enough to work on a variety of platforms.
Installation:
* Unzip the file
* Rename to shamarok if necessary
* Adjust the path in the top section if dcop and the other utilities are not being found
* copy to a location in your path
* chmod to make executable

Hi, I'd just like to ask - what window style is it in the screenshot? And, what font is used for Konsole and for system menus?
Ok here we go: - The window decoration is Plastik which comes with KDE 3.2 - The widgets are B3/KDE - The font is Bitstream Vera Sans Mono (bold at 11pt). The font itself is free and you should be able to get it from http://www.gnome.org/fonts/ cheers, --urs
thanks a lot for the info. I'm using plastiK as window decoration, but I'd never guess it was B3/kde [it looks really slick...] best regards, owczi
Just tried the script, and it works nicely here. Good stuff :) I guess we should link to this from the amaroK website, and also to amaroKKy, which is a nifty addition as well.
That would be great. cheers, --urs
