Do all of this before you even set the theme. 1. Install the updated Materia-Manjaro plasma themes. 2. Install the updated Materia-Manjaro color-scheme 3. Install Materia-Manjaro-GTK 4. Go Workspace theme and select Breeze. 5. Go to application style and at widget style select Breeze 6. Stay at application style and select window decorations and select Breeze and hit apply. 7. Stay at window decorations and hit configure Breeze and turn on title bar gradient. Still in same window configure Breeze make sure all the boxes are not checked beside draw title bar gradient. Make sure button size is medium Go over to shadows and select medium and 80 % and change the color to #282828 Hit ok and then apply 8. Go to application style GNOME/GTK application style and select Materia-Manjaro-GTK 9. Now go to the workspace theme and down to plasma theme and select Materia-Manjaro-Blur Mono 10. Go to colors and select Materia-Manjaro

Good morning, right on man I gathered all this information and I will work on this. I am asking because I just don't know but can all these steps be done and then packed into one .zip ready for install? When I make the video on this theme and it being the first plasma theme ever on my channel it would be great for the plasma folks to just install it without the steps, you know what I mean? I wonder if the creator of Newaita would mind if you forked the project and packed up the green folders for an easy install? In anycase I will put all this together and I super appreciate and respect all your hard work you have put into this and I am positive that my subscribers will love it...

From a default KDE setup there is only installing the 4 things and set them. Only reason it is more for you is because you have changed your widget style and all that stuff. I use default setup. I do not use all those window decorations and stuff. You install the color-scheme and plasma theme and gtk theme Three themes and set them. You have changed your widgets style and window decorations from default. I do not use any thing but breeze. My themes are made to be used with breeze. Flat window decorations do not look right on my theme. Materia theme does not need to be installed at all. Set everything to default and start from there and it is only 4 things.

I see, alright man i'm following you. Ok I am going back to scratch... I will put up a screenshot when I am done.

steps 4 thru 7 above are putting you back to default. So once your back to default you can remove those steps. So see I was getting you back to default because I see you have a lot changed that does not need to be.

freefreeno

Materia theme does not need to be installed. You will not use even 1 part of it.

Down below on second message I meant Materia-Manjaro not Materia-Breeze. I read over my directions and it is all here. Everything needs to be set to breeze besides color-scheme and Plasma theme and configure breeze window decorations like I said down below.

freefreeno

The theme will not look the same unless everything is the same as mine. All you need is stock breeze stuff and my Materia-Manjaro stuff and the GTK theme that I just posted. Follow all these directions from bottom to top and then it will be right. I will check this post several times today.

freefreeno

You must use breeze widget style and Materia Manjaro gtk theme.

freefreeno

Don't forget to open KATE and choose Materia Manjaro in settings.

I place my Newaita icons in the root so I cant say how they work in home directory. But wherever you install them you need to get to the inside of the Newaita-dark folder and and open a terminal and do sudo ./FV.sh and choose Manjaro as your color.

freefreeno

Get back with me when you have all those things done because your pretty much done.

freefreeno

Application style, window decorations and choose breeze and click configure breeze, --- In general on the draw title bar gradients should be checked or if you like the circle drawn around the close button then you can leave that but I do not. Go over animations and that is also up to you but I have mine off. Go to shadows and I have them set to medium at 80 percent and the color set to #282828 and that is that for the window decorations. Follow these from bottom to top.

freefreeno

Download the Newaita and Newaita dark icons from here. It is easier to just go to the git page and git clone it. I am coming back with more just do all these things.

freefreeno

Go to look and feel and set it to breeze. Not breeze dark just breeze. DO NOT USE MY LOOK AND FEEL JUST MY NEW MATERIA BREEZE THAT WAS POSTED LAST NIGHT. There is 4 plasma themes I uploaded last night and update that plasma theme. Choose materia manjaro blur mono. Then go to colors and choose Materia-Manjaro after you have downloaded it from here because it was also updated last night. I will be back with the finsish up.

freefreeno

I updated that theme last night first of all . I am gonna try to keep this as short as possible. Get ready next message will have instructions.
