Description:
The GNOME 3.36 refresh of Adwaita looks fantastic, but I was tired the usual blue, so created 12 color variants I thought I'd share (along with a script I wrote to pull all the files necessary for the GTK2, GTK3, and gnome-shell parts of the theme and modify them appropriately). They're simply hue rotations, plus a gray variety.

10 Is there a way of creating the very same Adwaita Theme (both light/dark variants), but *without* any gradient-like customization? I mean, flat. Like what happens on Pop OS new theme (which had the entire code rebased on new Adwaita theme).

morphis

how can i add this color variant? #F6515A

gnostiphage

Good idea. You can't yet, but I'll work on the script and get back to you.

morphis

:-) Thanks!

You did a awesome job even removed the dotted lines in the scroll earea's, but when I apply the dark ones not everything is dark. With not transparency the panel is white and when I hover the pointer above a icon it's white too.

gnostiphage

Would you mind linking me a screenshot of what you mean?

gnostiphage

That way I can fix it.

peppermint

This one is with the panel with no transparancy: https://i.ibb.co/kKWJVwt/Screenshot-2020-03-24-20-33-52.png

So I'm not sure I can fix the transparency issue, at least not without running it in whatever DE you're using (which looks rather nice btw), but I think it's a problem with how I copied/changed the gtk2 stuff for the dark theme. I'll have to look at it and get back to you (unless you wanted to change the script yourself, it's probably straightforward enough).

peppermint

It's Peppermint 10 Respin (wich future is a bit uncertain because the main dev passed away) If you could fix it it would be great, if not thanks anyway;)

gnostiphage

I think I fixed it, can't be sure though, my DE doesn't really use gtk2

peppermint

Fixed it, but I had to use the dark blue one because some parts were still blue, but that's not a big problem for me because I prefer the blue one anyway. Thanks very much for replying and your effort for trying.
