As it says, its for Plasma5 only. Since i use Plasma6 i can not use it. Would be nice the maintainer could bring it to Plasma6 as this is the current version for more than a year to this date.
Lovely. Now on Ubuntu X11, when clicked, it opens normally. When called with the shortcut (which is used in 99% cases), it opens "Transalator - Plasma" window which is passive and non editable. I see no purpose of it. It should open the applet based on explicit promise: "This shortcut will activate the applet as though it had been clicked." Probably some glitch. Great plugin!
Sadly it doesn't work anymore, since it doesn't support Plasma 6
Good afternoon. I'm already working on adapting the widget for Plasma6.
That's excellent news! It's one of the reasons I've held back from upgrading to Plasma 6 yet.
Good to hear! This is such a cool tool.
Is there any news?
A prettier icon to use could be crow-translate-tray
Good day. For now i prepare big update with many changes. When it ready I let you know.
7 I miss support of open translators like https://github.com/LibreTranslate/LibreTranslate or Mozilla Firefox used translator
I have already received proposals for this, but I can only do it in my free time.
It's just an interface to the package. If you have any suggestions, please address them to the translate-shell developer.
10 Thank you for this, saved me a lot of time!
Thanks for rate! Update is coming soon.
Hi, I tried to make this work on Wayland. I replaced xsel with wl-copy and wl-paste you can use: sed -i 's/xsel --clear/wl-copy --clear/g' ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.translator/contents/ui/main.qml sed -i 's/xsel -o/wl-paste/g' ~/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.translator/contents/ui/main.qml A check could be added so that if running under Wayland it prompts to install wl-clipboard.
Thanks, I'll try to add Wayland support in the next update.

3 Unmaintained. Text speaking did not work. I recommend Crow Translate
Good day. Thanks for your feedback. I will look at what the playback problem is and fix it in the next release.
Any updates on this?
this is a problem with the translate-shell package itself (as soon as it is fixed, the function will appear in the widget as well).
