Call me old-fashioned, but I do not like all the modern dark themes out there. My focus is this:

A pleasing, clear and easy-on-the-eyes theme that is meant for those who use the Gnome-desktop professionally on a daily basis.

The focus in this theme is usability and compatibility: GTK-3 applications and GTK-4 applications look virtually the same.


NEW:

Professional-gnome-40 is especially designed solely for the Gnome-40 desktop.
As it is gtk 3.24, it should work for older gnome-versions.
For now, only the light and the dark theme are provided.
A gnome-shell for the gnome-40 is included in the themes.
Besides GTK-3, GTK-4 is also supported.


How to install:

Download the theme,
> professional-gnome-40
> professional-gnome-40-dark

Older themes:

> Gnome-PROF-light
> Gnome-PROF-light-DS (Dark Sidebar in the filemanager)
> Gnome-PROF-Darker
> Gnome-PROF-Dark

Just copy the extracted file to a '.themes'-folder you make in your home directory.
Then use Tweak Tool and select the theme.
LOG OUT AND BACK IN for changes to take full effect !
