Some description text to indicate which of the 14 different download files is which would be helpful. I see no-text, brief-text, and long-text variations in the preview pictures, but it's not obvious how that maps onto PGR-1, LOG-PGR-1, PGR-2, LOG-PGR-2, nor why some of those come in DARK and some don't...
Sorry for the confusion in the names. The LOG text is long for everyone and there are no options with short text. PGR is a progress bar. The archive where the LOG is written in the name - this topic where there is a LOG, and where it is not mentioned, there is no LOG. And yes there is with black background, gray and white inverted.
As for the useful, select the first in the list "COGWHEEL-A-SPINNER-LOG-PGR-2-BLACK_V1.0_PLYMOUTH-THEME.ZIP".
Plymouth is a bootsplash for Linux supporting animations using Direct Rendering Manager and KMS driver. It gets packed into the initrd. Besides eye-candy, Plymouth also handles user interaction during boot. Wikipedia
