How is this installed on Kubuntu 24.10? Is there a guide somewhere for installing a *.tar.xz file like this rather than the usual *.plasmoid files that are elsewhere on this site?
I've figured it out. Extract the directory tree from the tar.gz file. Re-compress it as a zipfile. Rename it from *.zip to *.plasmoid. Then it can be installed with the usual add-widgets->get-new-widgets->install-from-local-file method.
7In my version, I had to change the following line for regions which use a comma for decimals:
property string porcentreal: ((((porcntRam.text).substring(0, 2)).replace(/\.{1}/g, ""))/100)*.83
...to this:
property string porcentreal: ((((porcntRam.text).substring(0, 2)).replace(/\.{1}/g, "").replace(/\,{1}/g, ""))/100)*.83
Other than that, very nice.
I'm sorry for not having answered before, some changes have already been made that will avoid this error you are talking about, thank you for having provided a solution for that version, this new version uses a different method and it is no longer necessary to modify the line you are talking about
