Description: Vertex theme by horst3180 adapted for and tested on Cinnamon 6.0.4 Designed to be used with classic Window List (NOT designed for Grouped Window List, it'll work but look ugly and inconsistent)
Used assets from DeLorean by hellokitten Used assets from Jet-Gray by Jet-Gray
Unlike in my previous attempts at theming, I finally figured out a way to do correct padding on the Cinnamon theme, so the tray box should look identical without any needed modifications. There might be some errors in the GTK theme. I mostly just copied it from horst3180's theme, with only slight alterations (e.g. the sidebar in nemo), so the theme is very old and hasn't been updated, but in my testing I haven't noticed any errors so far.Last changelog:
1.4
Fixed the lack of border in the entry field when renaming files in Nemo.
Woops changing the grade deleted the comments, well anyways, i was saying thanks for the textbox when editing filenames. The Desktop text shadows works perfectly and it helps with reading on top of the wallpaper : ) Also i have noticed something else, the workspace switcher is larger then the black box in the right side of the panel, so it will just jut out of the top and bottom witch looks a bit funky, especially visible in simple buttons mode. i don't mind it since i have my indicator to the left anyway. Other than that, the theme is flawless and that's super cool, and i love those non flat themes you've been working on. Thanks for the hard work :)
Thanks for the nice words, glad someone else appreciates skeuomorphism. As for the workspace switcher, there's not really much you can do I guess. I kinda designed this to resemble Windows 98 and XP, which were my first two OSes, and they didn't have workspaces, and personally I don't use them. There's not much I can do here, but I can tell you which code to remove from the text file to get rid of the black box in the tray.
After rechecking your pics, the shadows don't appear as intense, it's only the black direct shadow and not the suround shadow like for floating windows
Hm, that's strange, since I literally copied the code from my local config. I'm gonna have to remove my local settings and test this. Thanks for the feedback!
Okay, I must be misunderstanding something about the way GTK themes work. For some reason the same code that works in .config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css does not work if you put it in the gtk.css file of the theme. In fact, it already had similar code there, just with the basic shadow that you have by default, but changing it didn't yield no results either. So I guess I'll just have to remove that from the changelog.
FYI if you wanna have shadows that I have on the screenshots, I described how to do it in my proposition on github: https://github.com/orgs/linuxmint/discussions/296
Anaximeno kindly created a pull request from it, so with any luck the default Mint-Y theme will have them by default in the future.

That's super cool, it does seem like it's getting integrated :)
