So happy to share my computer's "outfit" with someone who also wants to wear it! :) Please don't be shy if anything is buggy or wonky--as a Debian stable granny, I imagine I won't be able to test this on bare metal for quite a while.
Ha ha, well I'm a openSUSE Leap grandpa so we're kind of in the same boat. I have a newer thinkpad running Fedora and Plasma 6 because there's certain things I need that for, but the stable point release version of openSUSE is my daily driver.
So far so good with Plasma 6 version. The SDDM usually seems to be where global themes trip up and I'm happy to report that yours works just fine. :)
