Also, what is the top bar where you just have the text? is the "K" a app launcher and the words are ? Thanks I like your setup that's why I'm asking.
The "k" is the menu button, it should be the kde logo but the icon set uses a "k" instead. The text with the name of the active app and the rest of the text is global menu, included in most distributions with KDE
