Thanks for that awesome theme. I am using the whole collection of oxylights (login, kdm, wallpaper) but the kdm theme is to small for my display since I am running on 1600x1280 which gives me some grafical artifacts at the bottom of the screen.
Is there the possibility that you add support for 1600x1280 screens to this theme?
Thanks
I think you just need to resize the background.png image in the theme directory.Command:
gwenview /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes/Oxylights/background0.png
if there are some other problems send me some screenshots
didnt work :(
Maybe its due to OpenSuse which might keep the files somewhere else (for Instance I have to use Yast to change the KDM because the systemsettings approach isnt working)
Yes, you're right. Each distribution have a different path in which kdm theme is stored. But the approach is to change directly the background image resolution.
Generally the command is:
(With root privileges)
an image editor (like gimp or gwenview) path/to/kdm/theme/background0.png
