Description:
This service menu give you a *silly* way to print fast your selection on konqueror
USE
select the text
copy the text
rigt button on the webpage
select print selection
a kdialog will appear
paste the text
press ok
printer should work
INSTALLATION
if you CAN NOT be root :local installation:
- place the .desktop file in
1
$(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/
If you CAN be root : System-wide installation:
- place the .desktop file in
1
$(kde4-config --prefix)/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus/
NOTE VERY IMPORTANT
this service menu use lp shell command
so MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A DEFAULT PRINTER IF DOESN'T WORK TRY THIS :
copy and paste this in the konsole
echo ciao >/tmp/test ; lp /tmp/test
if this work should work the same this service menu , otherwise xD you have to find out why , the most of time there is not a default printer Last changelog:
