Description: Simple Play ISO image in with Xine menu. Be sure Xine is added in System Settings to iso files. Open System Settings, Advanced tab->File Associations. Find application/x-cd-image and add xine. Simply place the desktop file in /home/yourusername/.kde4/share/kde4/services/ServiceMenus
I hope this is useful to some. Its my first time contributing anything here.
Not sure why anyone would vote against your desktop menu without leaving a comment. I just downloaded it but haven't had a chance to try it yet.
It is something that I look forward to using, I'll let you know if I run into problems.
Thanks for contributing.
"maybe it's the kde4 dependency."
The issue is much more likely to be addressed by pointing out a problem with the dependency rather than by simply voting "bad".
It's not a complex piece of code, it may be easy to adapt it to kde3 but how would Hydranmenace know people want that?
It's frustrating to try to make a contribution and have it anonymously voted down without any idea of what people would like changed.
maybe if people were forced to log in to vote (as is required for comments ) the input would be more useful.
Have a good night.
This code is already available for KDE3.x. The point to doing this was to make it available for 4.x as well, since many of my 3.x service menus did not work on 4.x
I agree that commenting should not require a login though. Thx for the comments.
Calm down? I wasn't upset. I was simply stating fact. Please refrain from reading tone into text, it will avoid misunderstandings. Thank you for your suggestion, i will try to find the original servicemenu and link it.
when you said 'This code is already available for KDE3.x.', it seemed like you were about to rampage, ripping body parts off innocent passersby.....no, wasn't in response to your statements, was in response to moon, didn't want moon to be angry with me, i've got enough people wishing me harm, it's made me jumpy.
