Description: Bash script + Konqueror service menu for creating book in tiny format. Right-click PDF/PS file, choose Create kminibook, answer some simple questions and you'll get a PDF file. Print it using duplex printing (1st half of the pages are EVEN, 2nd half are ODD), cut the frames, then staple the cut frames together and there you go! You have a tiny book.
Any comments, corrections, new ideas, complaints, translations, bug reports/fixes are welcome.
Requirements: bash ghostview psutils xpdf (at least version 3.0 is recommended)
Optional: pdflatex + pdfpages (for page numbers)
How to install: 1) download kminibook-0.1.tar.gz and (as root) run: tar xzvf kminibook-0.1.tar.gz -C / 2) download kminibook.desktop and put it into /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus (system-wide) or ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus (only for current user) 3) use it and enjoy Last changelog:

it uses psnup. impose+ seems pretty interesting though. thank you for posting, i will investigate it a bit more. -- joe
