I was searching for a long time for some theme that wasn't just black-or-white with transparency. Maybe it's just me but most of the themes on kde-look.org look almost the same. I just wish the borders wouldn't have that naughty "grey line" effect, I wish they were in theme with the background, like some polished wooden edge.
So far I've tried every compression method I can think of and cant get it below 3 Mb. It's the wood textures I'm using for the panel and widget backgrounds that make up most of the file size. I'm definitely open to any suggestions as to how to fix this.
I figured it out. Just had to resize some of the textures.
That hosting site sucks. After I fill out the captcha it switches to an advert, and I was not able to actually download the file. Please find some other site to host, or a way to compress it so KDE Look would accept it. Did you try .tar.bz2 format?
I did ultimately find where Firefox was popping up the download dialogs. Still, I don't particularly like that host and very much hope you'll find a way to get it into KDE Look the "normal" way.
This is my default plasma theme now. *Wish* A plasma theme with a porcelain effect would be nice too!
Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it.
A porcelain theme would be horrible after consuming mass amounts of alcohol :p Oops, that wasn't my toilet :( Anyways, this is freakin' unique and awesome, I love it!
Hi, i can't install this theme using the add theme dialog. i get an error that says it can't install it.
Yeah, I'm having issues with the file size being too large to upload to kde-look, so I have to use another sharing site which wont work with add themes. For now, instructions for a manual install are included with the donload.
