Without Kwin compositing enabled the panel is green, looks horrible :-(
only works with manually installation (extract to directory) on openSUSE 11.1
Manual install was the only way for it to work for me as well. Using the appearance settings page in KDE4 doesn't work for some reason, even though it appears to install it. Very nice theme though... I voted "good" for it. Now if only there was a way to get the vista start button with Plasma!
pls keep this up...excellent!:) thank you!
I downloaded and manually put extracted file in /home/shawnr/.kde4/share/apps/desktoptheme It works now. Looks really good. It still didn't work the automatic way, but may have not have been the newer version yet. One suggestion. I think this theme will be perfect if the system tray background was transparent like the panel.
ok thanks ...now I have to understand why the automatic install way doesn't work...btw i changed the system tray background... I will include it in the package in the version 0.3 ... it looks better I think ... ah last thing ... I am working on another new theme so ... stay tuned!
Sorry, for me it still doesn't work with automatic or with manual installation. I'm sorry. When I open your archive I still don't see any picture. :s Don't know what's going on. :s
I can confirm. Just tried installing on Opensuse 11.1 fresh install. It looks exactly like the oxygen theme. I don't know much about KDE4 plasma themes, so can't offer any help.
I mean that when I download image using automatic way or downloading it using firefox from KDELook, I have no SVG image in your archive. That's the problem I think. :o I don't know if it comes from me or from your archive, but that's what I have noticed. :s
can the others confirm the same thing? btw you are right ... I tried to install it from another computer and it doesn't work ... I don't know why... On my computer works perfectly ... if anyone can help I would be grateful...
I hate "Vista-like" themes, but voted "Good", because hoping, that you'll do another good themes, wallpapers and other things.

Self fix.
This theme is really good looking, but it doesn't work in kde 4.1.3 Mandriva. Hope you'll may fix it. Thank you for your work. Keep it up. :)
Can you tell me please how you tried to install it ?
Hum ok, sorry for the waiting time, I hadn't time before today for answering. I used the automatic way in order to install it. It just don't show the graphics you show on screenshots. Hope there is a solution. :)
Opening your archive I saw that there is no image in your archive. :o
what do you mean there is no image in the archive?
On KDE 4.2 RC1 I can see no differences with the Oxygen plasma theme.
I created it on kde 4.1.2 .. I don't know if it is compatible with 4.2... if it's not I will update it when I will install kde 4.2..
That might be the problem for me too... I just dont see the "difference" of Windows Vista or KDE because I usually dont use the Oxygen theme until now KDE 4.2 development version. As long I have used KDE, I keeped the Elegance or other style what is already similar to Windows Vista. I am planning to do my own style but not for Windows style, so hopefully the next one what author is doing, is what he promises ;-)
you really didn't need to change too much. it's always funny to make linux look like windows and give it to some other people and afterwards i tell them that it was linux xD
Actually in Greek the word σβήστα (pronounced "SVISTA") means "ERASE THEM!". This is good play with the words man!
Theme is not working, When I open panel.svg and tasks.svg in inkscape there is an information about not linkded images, so please fix this. btw , voting +
look better at the panel ... it's identical to Vista's panel! :)
What is wrong on me because I cant see anything else from Vista than the clock itself? Otherway it is "pure" KDE4 style.
