...it's still very incomplete and not final

3 - it is for unsupported KDE4

I created some GTK2 themes from your NewslickneSS theme and I'm so glad to see your skills going toward the KDE world! Tibana is beautiful, thank you.

Great theme, love it in general, but (for me) the light colored shadow behind the also light colored text in the Task Manager is annoying. I use a background color of #3F3F3F and main foreground color of #FFFFFF so maybe the shadow is hardwired and not picking up that I have light colored text. Also the blur radius of the shadow is just not crisp enough. Perhaps I can change the shadow setting somewhere else in the KDE system settings? Also the lowest section of Kickoff is a light background whereas Tibanna Dark Mod gets that right so I use it's Kickoff setting.

fuck off ! it's good

Hi , was it designed to have a black border around the notification area ? Just try with `kdialog --passivepopup Black' , you'd got that problem , there's a black border , i don't really like that .. That's the only thing i dislike ;-) All of the rest , Cool !

With kde 4.4 or 4.5? Plasma might have changed since 4.5 and I have no intentions of making it work with 4.5 sry. If this is the case that is.

aaronlewis1989

Ah , it's KDE 4.4.5 , and also plasma , just compiled on Gentoo.

TheRob

scrot?

aaronlewis1989

http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=127456 You'll want this ;-)

TheRob

Right, well, I guess you fun without compositing? Making this work (without compositing) would mean I'd have to know how masks work in inkscape and I haven't the slightest idea, I tried. If anyone is interested in taking over this project I'm more then happy to hand it over tho. sry.

aaronlewis1989

Yep , compositing removed the black border , but i'm not with compositing often ;-) Doesn't matter , don't be sad.

TheRob

Good then :) ,dont worry, I'm never sad, mad maybe but not sad ;-)

Great theme, nice and comfortable to work with all day (night) long ;) However without compositing (Kwin Desktop Effects) krunner dialog doesn't match. It's much higher and with different background. Can you fix it please?

TheRob

Thx! Yeah I know this theme sucks without compositing.... it should change now like the rest of them, wont look nice tho.

vi3dr0

Wow, that was QUICK ;) Don't want to bother you, but there is now 5px-wide solid black border around run dialog.

TheRob

yup, my skills is not enough to fix that, sry.

TheRob

.......only when compositing is off right?

zipfer

Yeah I like this theme too Thanx!

silverbyte

hi, This theme is amazing - using with KDE 4.4.2 Have you been continuing work on this theme ? Please do - there are various areas that could use some polishing up. For example if you select a category in the left pane, it doesnt have the subtle change in color. Please do work on this - this theme is amazing!!

TheRob

thx! the way it looks now tho, i will not develop this any further. As I do not use plasma anymore, plasma has too many issues and there are plenty of other desktops out there that does the job.

silverbyte

I completely understand your emotion - yet I feel that I should be doing my part for KDE (I filed 12 bugs over the last week). I think you are making some of the most amazing themes for KDE and I really want to hope that you will continue to do so (even if you say you dont) thanks!

tjwoosta

I really like this theme, but I hate the way its transparent. Its great how it follows my color scheme, but when its transparent it just doesn't quite match anything. Is there any way to hack this theme so it stays opaque even with desktop compositing and drop shadows enabled?

TheRob

Thx! You'll need basic inkscape / other svg program skills for that. just make the parts you want completely opaque and save & reload. //Robert

tjwoosta

Damn, I was hoping it was simpler then this. If it were Gimp or Photoshop I could handle it like a pro, but Inkscape and .svg in general is completely foreign to me. I don't suppose you could guide me through it? Or maybe just release an opaque version?
