Description:
This is yet another one of those Google Gadget Plasmoids making their rounds. This time I have incorporated the Remember The Milk gadget. It is a very basic gadget as you do you not get the full benefits of Remember The Milk, but it works well in the meantime.

I know someone is working on a full-fledged RTM plasmoid, so until that one gets released, I hope somebody besides me might find this a little bit useful

REQUIREMENTS:
* KDE 4.2.x
* Qt 4 Webkit

Thanks to Schutz Sacha who did the original Google Talk one (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/google+talk?content=100704). This code is pretty much his, just a different link

Gotta love Open Source!
Last changelog:

I've got some problems with login, it simply freeze on "configuring"

Utino

I can't login, it looks like the plasmoid is always trying to connect. Can you suggest me something to check? thanks

ssri

This worked fine up to ten days ago, where thereafter it has been unable to logon. I can logon into the site just fine, but this plasmoid seems to be unable to even though it says that my login is authenticated.

Utino

Ok, thanks for your answer, so I hope in some updates!

szyms

Is there any option to make it auto login on start ?

Hi, I'm the developer of the other remember the milk plasmoid. I just wanted to note that it's now moved from playground to kdereview, with the possibility of even ending up being released with KDE 4.3. You can find it at http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/kdereview/rememberthemilk Andrew Stromme

Yes, everyone use the new RTM plasmoid. If you are starting to use the KDE 4.3 beta releases from your distros, there is a good chance someone has already packaged this for your distro. It is currently in the plasma-widgets-addons package in Kubuntu Karmic release and probably the same for the Jaunty PPA.

I wrote a PKGBUILD for Arch. http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26043

I think we have to fusion your gadget and google gadget, and gmail link, and google tool. With always the same method. And we need to save the user name and password with a KGroupConfig. Do you want joint to this small and easy project ? A name : ? googloid ?

nixternal

Ya, I was going to figure out how to store the username and password as well. If I get some time over the next day or two I am going to take a look at it.

Working fine with the Kubuntu Jaunty (alpha-6). Thank you ! "I know someone is working on a full-fledged RTM plasmoid, so until that one gets released, I hope somebody besides me might find this a little bit useful :)" I find this very useful. The "other one" that i know: http://blog.chatonka.com/tag/rtm/
