It should be more configurable. I mean here:
1. easy setting favorite applitations, 2. sorting them with left or right mouse button (moving them in list when left mouse button is hold).

But this functionality is already present in plasma. It can be achieved by using the "Application Launcher Menu" plasmoid and configuring it to only show the favorites menu.
But still.
My plans are to make a fancyer K-Menu, because the greyish look of the K-Menu is not fitting into the plasma-theme.

Wow, good plasmoid. Unfortanetly, my desktop is a little too full with plasmoids, so I can't use it right now. And if I put it on the panel, it makes only little difference with the Kickoff Menu.

Good idea I sujest using an SVG icon for the plasmoid and a possibility to configure icons of launchers
